Dr. Summer Suttles is a proud Charlotte area native, bringing a deep understanding of our community's needs to her dental practice. Her journey in dentistry began right here in North Carolina, where she completed both her undergraduate studies and dental education at the prestigious University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Suttles' love for her hometown and passion for oral health drives her commitment to providing top-notch dental care to her neighbors. Her approach combines the latest in dental techniques with a warm, approachable demeanor that puts patients at ease. When she's not crafting beautiful smiles, Dr. Suttles enjoys working out and enjoying quality time with her family. Her love for fashion and home aesthetics shines through in her cosmetic dental work with her acute attention to detail and symmetry.

Dr. Suttles believes that a healthy smile is key to overall wellbeing and confidence. She's dedicated to not just treating dental issues, but also educating her patients about preventive care, ensuring that the smiles she creates last a lifetime. She particularly is passionate about making same day CEREC crowns to deliver a seamless, more accurate, and easier experience for patients.

Dr. Suttles also acknowledges an epidemic of jaw-related stress and spends time educating them on the causes of teeth clenching and grinding, and various ways to prevent and treat related symptoms and damage to ensure a healthy smile.

Dr. Emily Snapp brings a wealth of diverse experiences to Park Cedar Dentistry. Born and raised in Virginia, she developed a love for the Southeast that eventually led her to make Charlotte her home. Dr. Snapp completed her dental education at the renowned Ohio State University, where she honed her skills and developed a passion for incorporating the latest dental technologies into patient care.

Her journey from Virginia to Ohio, and finally to North Carolina, has given Dr. Snapp a unique perspective that she applies to her dental practice. She understands that each patient's needs are as diverse as her own experiences, and she tailors her approach accordingly.

When she's not in the office, Dr. Snapp is an avid hiker, often found exploring the beautiful trails of North Carolina and beyond. Her love for travel extends beyond hiking; she believes that experiencing different cultures broadens her perspective and enhances her ability to connect with patients from all walks of life.

Dr. Snapp's commitment to continuing education ensures she stays at the forefront of dental advancements, having traveled nationwide to learn from top dental institutions about the latest techniques in cosmetic dentistry and facial esthetics. She expertly creates beautiful smiles using veneers and builds precise, custom-fitted crowns utilizing same-day CEREC technology. Recognizing that dental health extends beyond aesthetics, Dr. Snapp is trained in dental solutions for sleep apnea and works collaboratively with local medical professionals to help treat this condition. With many years of experience, she is deeply committed to ensuring her patients are pain-free, offering effective solutions for joint imbalances, TMJ pain, and associated headaches. Additionally, as one of the few dentists who have completed advanced training in Invisalign, Dr. Snapp proudly offers her patients the option to achieve a straighter smile through clear aligner therapy.

Your new patient exam is all about getting to know you and your smile. We'll start with a friendly chat about your dental history and goals. Then, we'll perform a comprehensive exam, including digital X-rays and intraoral photos. We even take a complementary 3D photo scan of your teeth to give you a visual "tour of the mouth" for better understanding. We'll discuss our findings with you, answer all your questions, and create a personalized treatment plan. Our goal is to make you feel informed, comfortable, and excited about your dental health journey.
